The Edwards campaign is looking for students to spend winter break in early states working for the campaign. They also need MN student contacts to "help recruit others and have a direct line to our campaign for resources including rally signs, bumper stickers, table tents, policy papers, etc."

Young Lawyers for Obama Event Tonight!


The MN Young Lawyers for Obama are hosting a fundraising concert TONIGHT, Sunday 11/18 from 6-10pm at the Varsity Theater in Minneapolis.

The show will feature The Sunny Era, Candy, Wazungu, and other great local bands.

Sadly, Obama himself will be south of the border tonight, but Mayor R.T. Rybak plans to be at the Varsity, so why shouldn't you be there, too?

Tickets are $25 online or $30 at the door.

Mark your calendars. St. Paul Mayor and Law School alum Chris Coleman will be here on Monday, November 26, at 12:15 in Room 50. We'll provide lunch.

Mayor Coleman will discuss his journey from law student to lawmaker.

Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak to Speak at Law School

The Law School Democrats welcome Mayor of Minneapolis R.T. Rybak to campus tomorrow.

The mayor will speak on law and politics and about how young lawyers can effect social change through service in local government. He will also take questions.

Please join us in Auerbach Commons of Mondale Hall at 12:15 p.m. Lunch will be provided.
